29/09/2011: 502.6 kilo
Finally 500 kilometers!
Since the first recorded run at the 19th Sept. 2010, it takes me one year and 10 days. Let's take a look at where I am now, somewhere in Italy.

With 500 kilometers from Antibes, I arrived at the city of Bologna. Very interesting information can be found on the wiki page of Bologna. Remarkably, this is the city that invented the Bolognese sauce which is really famous and it's actually my (almost) everyday accompany, j'adore ca!

13/07/2011: 402.4 kilo
400 kilo milestone!
With 400 kilometers from Antibes, I find myself at Parma, Italy. Parma is another Italian city that I know since a long time for the same reason as Piacenza: Parma has a decent football club that plays in the Series A games.
Apart from that, Parma is a city with a long history, dates up to the bronze age. More information can be found in the Parma wiki page and also the Parma F.C wiki page. Parma is famous for its cheese, namely, Parmigiano Reggiano, and its hams, namely, Prosciutto di Parma. Here is an interesting link about the Parma ham ( in french).

25/05/2011: 340 kilo
So happy that I arrived at another big city, Piacenza!
The first time when I heard of this city is from the football match, long time ago. Piacenza has a team playing in the Italy Serie A. Yes, a little internet research confirmed me that Piacenza played in the Serie A for the 1997/1998 and 2001/2002 season, when I had a lot of fun watching the football matches.
More information can be found in the Piacenza Club Wiki.
However, I knew little about the city itself. So here is some first study. This city of Piacenza is the capital city of the province of Piacenza. Due to its special geographical position, it's an important place to control during the war so it has been heavily bombed during the WWII; and during the peace time, it's a culture center. It has a long history, so there are many interesting sites to visit. Here below is a very nice picture of the Piazza Cavalli and the façade of il Gotico, I found it on the Piacenza Wiki page.
It's also famous for its seasoned and salted pork products: Pancetta, Capicola and Salami. I must try to see if I can find one or two of them here in France. :D

With 266 kilometers from Antibes, I'm now in the city of Tortona.
Tortona is a city with a long history dating back to 123 BC - 118 BC, it sits at the junction of great roads which gives it special importance. Read the Wiki page of Tortona for more information.

27/02/2011: 240.8 kilo
With 241 kilometers from Antibes, I find myself now in a small town of Predosa, Italy. It's really small with only about 2000 people living in a 36 square kilometers region, according to Wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predosa. But it's beautiful, you can find some nice pictures in it's official website: http://www.comune.predosa.al.it/

13/02/2011: 217.5 kilo
The time goes fast, by today, I already have 217.5 kilometers. I didn't notice where I already am until my friend Peter asked me the question: are you at Milan now? Well I believe it's still far from Milan but it's it should be interesting to check because the last time I checked where I am is the 0th run, with the bonus 111 kilometers, at that time, I was at Andora, Italy.

So now where I am ? With another 107 kilometers, I left the beach and going north towards Milan (but actually I won't go to Milan in the original plan). I found myself at a small town of Campo Ligure.
